how can i put a good audio system in a 2005 ford f-150 access cab? it has a regular length bed.?
im gettin this truck free, from my new stepdad who paid it off. im goin to put an audio system in my vehicle no matter what it is, but i have no idea how to put a system in a truck. the bed has a hard cover on it already, and i know thats gotta be good. i want to put 4 12″ subs in 2 seperate ported boxes. and then im puttin 4 tweeters and 6 mids. i also plan on puttin an extra battery and alternator since i got a 5,000 watt amp from my friend. Also, should i buy an equalizer?
you wont be able to put that many subs in that truck, trust me.. unless you plan on doing a blowthough which will take up the whole back of the truck and has to be sealed off which is VERY expensive to be able to do this effeciently.
mtx audio makes thunderforms, which are sub boxes which are powered with an amp and sub built in that can fit under the seats of trucks, i do beleive they have one for your truck, search on google.. or you can custom fabricate a bos to fit under/behind your seats.. i dont see you being able to put in more than 2 12″ subs in there, unless you know for a fact what you’re doing, but if you did you wouldnt be posting here..(no offense)
